Club Member Garden Tour On May 17, 2008 three members of the Lancaster Bonsai Society opened their gates and let other members tour their Bonsai Gardens. Frank Thomas' Garden Roger Lehman's Garden Ken Morgan's Garden
The Demuth Garden Tour June 7th and 8th, 2008. This year club participation was great, we had enough trees to fill 6 tables. Club members working on trees up in the patio area drew lots of interest. Some of the trees on display.
Bonsai Display at Fulton Bank Club member trees were put on display at the Fulton Bank on Greenfield Rd. near Costco on May 15, and they will remain there for about a week. President Helen Dunlap will tend the trees on a daily basis until they are collected. LBS would like to thank Elaine J. Shope, Branch Manager for allowing us to display our trees.
During the month of November 2007 Hershey Gardens put on a display of Bonsai trees. The trees were loaned to the gardens by local clubs. The trees belong to members of, Susquehanna Bonsai Club, Lancaster Bonsai Society, and the Augusta Bonsai Club. The display was in the Butterfly house in the children's garden, and Hershey Gardens is considering a permanent collection. Below are some photos of the many beautiful trees.
